Intro

This is a typical VFX video that showcases the possibilities of marketing for small to medium size businesses. These kind of videos is good for grabbing attention on social media platforms, with the possibility to creatively incorporate the company’s branding and marketing message.

The basics

In this project, the process was pretty straight forward. I filmed a street with a view of a coffee shop in Nice, France. Then I took a ready to use model of coffee beans, made a dynamics simulation in Maya and attached the beans randomly to each point of the simulation.

Final Animation

The final animation was rendered on 2 different layers. The beans, and the shadow layer was separated to allow the better felxibility in the compositing stage.
